As a registered charity and a non-profit making organisation, Haslingfield Little Owls aims to keep fees to a minimum and to be accessible to all in our local communities. One of the ways in which we achieve this is through a range of fund-raising activities. These contribute significantly to our income and thus help us to provide a high-quality service while maintaining fees at a reasonable level.
This money is used mainly to pay for salaries and to buy materials and equipment and would otherwise have to come from fees which would have to rise accordingly. Therefore, fund-raising benefits every member of Pre-school and is essential to the group’s long-term viability.
The committee organises many fund-raising activities throughout the year and we welcome/need as much help as possible with these events. Some events require minimal amounts of labour, but our main income is from the village wide events such as Bonfire Night and the Jumble Sale, which require a substantial effort to make them successful. We would be very grateful if you could register with Easy Fundraising to help raise funds for Little Owls whilst you shop online (with no extra cost to you) – it really is easy to do and many retailers such as John Lewis, Tesco, Amazon are subscribers to this.
Also if you are purchasing any fun, craft materials we ask you to consider using ‘Yellow Moon‘, catalogues are available at Little Owls – another way to raise money for the Pre-school.
