For parents paying for their child’s place at Little Owls invoices are issued by Serena, our Funding Coordinator, on a termly basis and are due for payment at the beginning of the term. Our hourly rate is £5.00 per hour and each session is a minimum of a 3 hours. Lunch Club then runs from 12 noon until 1pm which is an additional £5.00.
Early Years Funding
All children are entitled to 15 hours of completely funded nursery education the term after their 3rd birthday. We will provide you with the necessary funding form at the relevant times and then apply for funding on your behalf. The funding is paid directly to the Preschool. You may split your child’s 15 funded hours across more than one provider and the funding can include a mix of termly sessions and full year wrap around care.
Haslingfield Little Owls is funded on a termly basis (and therefore across 38 weeks in the year) and each session (excluding lunch club) is 3 hours.
You will need to provide identification for your child, such as their birth certificate or passport. Please show this to a member of staff.
You may be able to get up to 30 hours free childcare (1,140 hours per year, which you can choose how you take). If you are eligible for the extra hours, you must sign up online to get a code to give to us your place. You will get the extra hours once the next term starts.
Haslingfield Little Owls is able to accept ‘Funded Two Year Olds’. To qualify for this funding, the Government requires that a family must be in receipt of one of the following:
- Income Support
- Income based Job Seekers Allowance
- Income related Employment and Support Allowance
- Support under part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
